We have just celebrated the first anniversary of beginning training Sammy, 12 yr old Trakehner mare. She was seized by Sonoma County animal control. She was several hundred pounds underweight and living in a 12X12 pen eating stale bread. I want to thank everyone who had a part in rehabilitating this horse. She has given me 110 percent from day one and is a testament to the power of gymnastic dressage work. She was the weakest, most crooked, unbalanced horse I have ever sat on and 12 months later she is rock solid muslce and schooling 2nd level.
